NEXT BELT TEST - MAY 1st
Our next belt test will be held May 1st. This will be the first
of its kind for Texas Kenpo Karate. Hopefully you have each
read about the new format regarding belts and belt tests. The test
on May 1 will include ALL STUDENTS,, or at least those that our
instructors have qualified to test.
We will hold this belt test, not in our school, but at a local facility that is large enough
to accomodate all of our students and their families. All classes and all ranks will test
during that day, with each group (Lil’ Dragons, Juniors & Adults) going up at their
respective times. All students and their families will be allowed to watch all tests and
promotions, including the Black Belts.
So mark your calendars for this event. The exact times of each group will be posted
soon, but this will be a big event, so keep the majority of that day open.
SPRING KENPO CAMP
SATURDAY, MAY 15, 2010
If you haven’t yet participated in one of our Kenpo Camps, talk
to someone who has. We truly have a blast, training all day in the
Great Outdoors. The camp will be held at the Rorie-Galloway Day Camp, just 1-
1/2 miles from our school.
We will be teaching several classes on a variety of subjects of Kenpo throughout
the day, including a Weapons Class.
Details of the camp will be coming soon, so check back to see the exciting
classes that will be taught.
